The Fear in Me

I awaken with a smooth voice whispering in my ear.It introduced itself as That What Never Was. It was trying to convince me to leave All That I Could Be. That What Never Was was really smooth you see. It reminded me of how I failed and often ran away. It told me failing was all I knew and nothing would ever change, success to me would always be somebody else’s game. It made me feel so insecure I almost came to tears. But All That I Could Be came screaming in my ear. "What’s wrong with you? Don’t be fooled, you’ve been here many times before. I remember well, you did quite well. You’ve done this all before. Stop listening to that crazy fool and stick to what you know. You and I have lots to do before we leave this world."
